Over-Hyped is the site’s mean-reversion lens. It looks for stocks with very high RSI readings that may be running hotter than their recent trend can sustain.

That does not mean these stocks are automatically bad or doomed. Strong momentum can remain strong for longer than expected.

Why this metric matters
- High RSI is a compact way to flag stocks that have had unusually strong recent buying pressure.
This can be useful when:
- you want to watch for pullback risk
- you want to review extended positions you already own
- you want to compare hot momentum names before chasing them
What this page is good for
- spotting extended names quickly
- building a “wait for better entry” watchlist
- seeing which high-RSI stocks also look risky in other ways
What it misses
- whether the momentum is backed by strong fundamentals
- whether a breakout is just beginning rather than ending
- whether the company is improving fast enough to justify the move
High RSI is a warning flag, not a verdict.
